Am I going? Hell no.
The average temperature in Harbin is 30 degrees below zero. I'm told today was -10 and I almost lost my manhood to the cold. It's ridiculous how miserably cold it was today. The wind is the real killer - when you're indoors it's fine.
So in conclusion, Harbin is the kind of place you want to visit in the pages of a good book, while next to a roaring fire. Give me the heatwave!!
And to show you I'm serious, here is a photo of me standing on a frozen lake and looking red and pissy.

Peace out.
Dear LittleMrJosh, you are a champ to be weathering (huh, huh, pun, chur) it all so well. I think you should reconsider the Harbin trip. It's a once in a lifetime deal. Just wear all your clothes at the same time for extra thermal protection. I bet the ice sculptures are breathtakingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteTo the Chilly Mr Jon-nes... As I said before you are welcome to share my merino wool tops that Rose has... Now stop being a wooosss, get that hot pink merino wool top on and layer it with the blue and black one and go for that adventure. Once in a life time opportunity to see that city and to wear women's clothes and not be busted! GO!
ReplyDeleteNot going to Harbin. It's decided (and booked for the others). I'm not going to Xi'an either, actually.
ReplyDeleteBut I like how you guys think merino tops beat minus 30 degree temperatures. Must be a breeze beating you at Rrck/paper/scissors.
